Searching and marking of aluminum castings

After casting and cooling, aluminum castings go to a cutting device, where unnecessary parts are cut off after casting. Subsequently, the castings fall onto the moving platform randomly. Using the Photoneo 3D scanner, we detect the position of the parts, which are removed by an industrial robot and moved to the bed, where the part is fixed and marked with a micro-punch. Subsequently, after the correct punching, the part is moved back and another is removed with the same procedure.
