Collaborative applications
Collaborative applications enable collaboration within the human-machine interface
Some production processes require a higher level of cooperation within the human-machine interface. This cooperation consists in the constant presence of a person near the machine, and it involves, for example, the supply of semi-finished products during the process, the lightening of the operator’s work by ergonomically demanding tasks such as heavier loads, etc. Collaborative applications enable such cooperation, but certain principles of design and implementation of these applications must be followed. Another advantage of collaborative applications is the possibility of operating these workplaces without the need for protective fencing, which reduces space requirements. Collaborative applications need to be carefully considered and made sure that the given process allows it.
