Collaborative applications
Collaborative applications enable collaboration within the human-machine interface
Some production processes require closer collaboration between humans and machines. This is especially the case in situations where continuous human presence is needed at the machine – for example, supplying semi-finished parts during the process, or relieving operators from physically demanding tasks such as handling heavier loads and similar operations.
Collaborative applications enable such cooperation; however, their design and implementation must follow specific safety and technical standards. One of the key advantages of collaborative systems is the possibility to operate workstations without the need for safety fencing, which significantly reduces space requirements. Nevertheless, each collaborative application must be carefully evaluated to ensure it is suitable for the given production process.
