A solution for reducing transport and storage time
Products spend most of their life cycle in the factory in transportation and storage. Conveyor and logistics systems are the ideal solution for reducing this time. From production units, finished products or packages can be placed automatically, either by a robot or a manipulator, on conveyor systems. They will deliver this product to the desired location. The products arrive at the palletizing place sorted or, in the case of export, prepared for a specific carrier or customer. Conveyor systems not only fulfill the role of a carrier, but they can also sort, reject, and transport goods between floors or other height levels. During transport, the goods can be weighed, marked or wrapped with other necessary material – for example, foil.
A great combination to conveyor systems are autonomous vehicles (AGVs), which can transport from small objects to pallets, within a plant or logistics center. These vehicles can form fleets, avoid obstacles and always arrive at the right place. Dismantling human-operated carts also increases efficiency, working with data and insight into where a product is currently located.
