Conveyor and logistics systems
A solution for reducing transport and storage time

Products spend the largest part of their lifecycle within a factory on transportation and storage. Efficient solutions for reducing these times are conveyor and intralogistics systems.
Finished products or packages can be automatically placed from production units (either by a robot or a manipulator) directly onto conveyor systems, which then transport them to the required destination. In this way, products arrive at the palletizing area already sorted or prepared for dispatch for a specific carrier or customer. However, conveyor systems do not only serve the function of transport. They are also capable of sorting products, removing non-conforming items, and enabling transfers between different floors or height levels. During transportation, goods can also be weighed, labeled, or wrapped, for example in film.
A suitable complement to these systems are autonomous mobile robots (AGVs), which ensure the transport of materials ranging from small objects to full pallets within a plant or logistics center. These vehicles can operate in fleets, intelligently avoid obstacles, and reliably reach their designated destinations. The elimination of manually operated carts also contributes to increased efficiency, better data utilization, and accurate tracking of the current location of products.
