Industrial Refrigerator Door Tester

We developed an industrial refrigerator door testing system for a customer who manufactures refrigerator components and monitors their energy consumption. The tester simulates real in-store operation to enable accurate measurement of the energy consumption of individual components. The system allows both open and closed door positions to be set and uses a Festo linear actuator. The entire solution runs on the Siemens platform and is designed in a master–slave configuration, allowing one unit to replicate another for synchronized testing. The tester offers three different testing modes, each with distinct parameters, to cover various real-world operating scenarios.
