Ultrasonic welding station
The station is used for melting the guiding grooves in order to prevent the inserted rubber from falling out. At the same time, the station performs gate cutting and a subsequent overall process inspection using a camera. The melting process is carried out by an ultrasonic welding machine. The cycle is repeated consecutively on two parts within one set. The entire station area is protected by pneumatic drop-down doors.
Ultrasonic welding machine
Melting is carried out by an ultrasonic welder from the Swiss supplier RINCO ULTRASONIC. It has many welding modes and is easily adaptable to different requirements. At the same time, it communicates via IO with the control system.
Camera Omron FQ2
The inspection is carried out using an Omron FQ2 camera, which checks the position of the part, the orientation of the part, the orientation of the rubber on the parts and the cutting of the sprues. The inspection takes place on two parts at the same time.
